Falcon Manor is a co-educational boarding, weekly boarding and day school for 150 pupils aged 8-18 years, providing a secure atmosphere for all. The aim of the school is to combine the atmosphere of a happy healthy home life with school discipline in which courtesy, consideration and a sense of responsibility to the community are stressed. Pupils whose parents live overseas are personally escorted to and from airports.
Class sizes are small with priority given to individual attention. Pupils study all National Curriculum core and foundation subjects until the age of 14 and continue to follow most through to GCSE.
Sport is an integral part of the curriculum with full use made of football, hockey and cricket pitches, tennis courts and a heated indoor swimming pool.
Those pupils with learning difficulties are given comprehensive support from the Special Needs Department where individual programmes help to improve areas of weakness.
Advanced level teaching takes place at one of 2 nearby further colleges of education where our sixth formers can choose from an extensive range of subjects whilst enjoying continuity of boarding life.
